    Common questions

What is the average LinkedIn Ads CPM in 2026?

Targeting managers and up by job function or industry: about $54 in North America, $50 in the UK and Western Europe, $37 in APAC, $22 in India and $21 in Latin America. Directors and up costs roughly 28% more per impression, VP and C-suite roughly 84% more, and a company list adds about 40%.

What is a good cost per lead on LinkedIn Ads?

With a Lead Gen Form and a content offer, typical cost per lead is about $137 in North America, $105 in the UK and Western Europe, $59 in APAC, $39 in Latin America and $35 in India. Demo and consultation offers cost roughly twice as much per lead.

What is a good CTR for LinkedIn Ads?

Averaged across markets, typical CTR is about 0.56% for single image ads, 0.46% for carousel, 0.53% for video and 0.77% for document ads. APAC and Latin America run higher than North America.

    When is LinkedIn advertising cheapest?

January is the cheapest month for cost per lead in 4 of the 5 markets we track, because new budgets have not yet flooded the auction and buyers are planning. November is usually the most expensive month for clicks because of the Q4 budget push. Costs ease after mid-December, but fewer leads convert until January.

Which industries pay the most for LinkedIn Ads?

Financial services and tech & saas pay the most: about $19 and $16 per click in North America for managers and up. Hospitality & travel and education pay the least, at about $10 to $10. Senior targeting and job titles push every industry higher.

Is ABM on LinkedIn more expensive per lead?

Usually, yes. Company lists shrink the audience and compete for the same accounts, so clicks cost about 30-50% more and cost per lead rises with them. The payoff is lead quality: teams using matched audiences report sales-accepted lead rates about 20% higher, which cost per lead alone doesn't show.

Does LinkedIn Ads seasonality differ by region?

Yes. North America and Europe slow down over the northern summer, with Europe's August dip the sharpest. Most APAC markets skip that slowdown but lose one to two weeks around Chinese New Year. Latin America's quiet stretch is its own summer holidays and Carnival in January and February.

Where do these LinkedIn Ads benchmarks come from?

They are built from a blend of Hyphen10 client campaigns and market studies covering more than $37M in LinkedIn ad spend, then adjusted for market, ad format, audience, offer and campaign month.

    How these numbers are calculated

The base benchmarks come from a blend of Hyphen10 client campaigns and market studies covering more than $37M in LinkedIn ad spend. Where a study gave a range, we used the midpoint. For ad format CTRs, where studies disagree most, we used the median so a single outlier study can't decide which format wins.

Results are built as a funnel. The budget buys impressions at the market's CPM, impressions turn into clicks at the format's CTR, and clicks turn into leads at the offer's conversion rate. Market, objective and audience adjust those numbers using ratios from the studies that break data down that way.

Seasonality averages what the studies say about cost, CTR and conversion month by month. Where a study only ranked periods ("cheapest", "highest"), we scored that as 10% either side of average. Regional holidays then shift the curve: Europe's August, Chinese New Year in APAC, Diwali in India and the southern-hemisphere summer in Latin America. Where no study measures a regional holiday on LinkedIn directly, we applied the measured drop from comparable holidays to the weeks it covers. Each curve averages out to zero across the year.

The conservative and strong columns apply the spread the studies report between average and top-quartile campaigns (CTR 0.7× to 1.5×, conversion 0.7× to 1.4×, CPM 1.25× to 0.8×). Because the steps multiply, lead ranges are wide.
